What’s Your Recipe for Scouse?

Calling all heritage, history and art lovers; are you interested in films? Do you want to take part in a piece of history? Do you like visiting places in Liverpool and want to find out about its history? Are you aged between 12 to 25 and disabled, deaf or living with a long term illness or condition?

DaDaFest have been awarded Heritage Lottery funding for an exciting project called ‘Recipe for Scouse’. A group of Young Disabled people from Merseyside have led on the project development and have decided to make a film to look at ‘ingredients’ of Liverpool’s cultural and historical identity and how this contributes to their own identities.

You can choose what area you would like to take part in: Acting, camera, filming, editing, animation, drawing, sketches, directing, script writing, researching, lighting, sound, costumes and making props.

If you would like to take part we want you to tell us what skills can you bring to the project and why would you want to do the project. You can send this information as a story, film, drawing, voice recording, blog or song.

The project will take place on Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm from Thursday 23 January 2014 in a Liverpool City Centre location. We will provide any access support and travel that you require to attend the workshops.
