Here it is!
After an amazing year filled with lots of Workshops; Film Shoots in weird and wonderful places; Celebrity Interviews; Film Premieres; Exhibitions in Liverpool’s most famous Museums; and lots lots more… the Recipe For Scouse Film is finally here and ready to be unleashed on the world! We’re very proud of it and we hope you like it too.
Written, filmed, edited by and starring Young DaDa members, this new short film takes a humorous and creative look at the historical and cultural ingredients of our unique identity. It particularly asks, ‘what does it mean to be a young person growing up in Liverpool?’
Young DaDa produced the film in partnership with First Take and National Museums Liverpool. Supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
This film is subtitled and you can view an Audio Described version of the film here: http://youtu.be/Zb0pd3jizoY

Recipe for Scouse is an exciting project for young disabled people in Merseyside. The group is creating a film all about Liverpool’s heritage and the “ingredients” of our cultural identity.
The project is now under way and the last few sessions have seen the group get to know each other and begin researching and coming up with ideas for what they want to be in the film. The group has also met the film-makers from “First Take”, a local film production company.
The group will soon begin training to create their film. This will involve participating in workshops to learn how to operate the camera, act, edit, create music and much more! One of our resident bloggers will be keeping track of what goes on and providing a re-cap right here on the site!
Stay tuned to see how this brilliant project develops.
